Your kidneys do more than filter blood, they regulate blood pressure, produce hormones, and maintain fluid balance. But if blood flow to your kidneys is blocked or restricted, their function can decline, silently leading to chronic kidney disease, uncontrolled hypertension, or even kidney failure.
